In order to get respite from the monotony of study life, the College celebrates Annual Function every year. Prior to it different types of literary and cultural competitions are conducted among the students and the winners of different competitions get certificates and prize on the Annual Day Celebration. Apart from this some special prizes like Judge Bhikari Rout Memorial Scholarship for Best Graduates (Arts, Science & Commerce) in the F.D Examination every year, Saudamini Smruti Poor Merit Scholarship, Sri Sankarsana Jena Merit Scholarship for best Graduate in History.
In the same way Annual Sports is conducted every year and the winners of different events receive medals and certificates from the invited guests. All the honours departments conduct at least 03 numbers of departmental Seminars every year in order to acquaint the students with this new intellectual experience.
